Christian Dodgson

Christian has a passion for music and film and has a background in property development. Back in 2005 Clearly Automated was created when Christian saw an opportunity to combine his passion with his experience to create dream home solutions. Building a strong team, Christian has led Clearly Automated and driven forward the delivery of many highly successful projects, both residential and commercial. He continues to run the Company without losing his focus on the high ethical and industry standards that were a priority for him from day one. Christian spends his free time walking, playing golf, travelling and reading.

Lynn Williams

Lynn has been working with lighting for almost 30 years, 13 of those spent working for the leading lighting controls company, until she joined Clearly Automated in 2013, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in the design and programming of lighting controls.

Lynn enjoys the variety that her job brings, working with architects, specifiers, lighting and interior designers, and end users. She has worked on some fabulous projects including theatres in Leeds and Manchester, hotels spas and restaurants throughout the UK, museums, churches, shopping centres, universities, and St George’s Square in Huddersfield, lighting the train station there that Sir John Betjamin described as the most impressive building façade outside St Pancras.
She presents RIBA approved CPD presentations to architects and designers, and has given training courses on the design and installation of lighting controls.

Lynn also loves working with homeowners, helping them to create magic within their new homes. She has an empathy that enables her to understand the needs of her customers, and to interpret those needs within the design. With lighting control, it’s important to keep the it simple and intuitive, and a joy to use.
Lynn lives in Yorkshire and loves walking in the Dales, relaxing at home and mountain biking in various exotic locations around the world.

Steve Murphy

Steve’s been in the AV industry since 2005 starting at Sky, going on to commercial AV for a while before getting to the top of his industry, working in high end residential AV for Clearly Automated.

“I’ve been working with Lutron since 2013 and have extensive experience especially with the shading side of the business having worked on some very prestigious and award-winning projects over the years.

When Steve’s not working he can be found either out on his mountain bike or surfing.

Joe Stubbs

Joe has been in the AV industry since 2017 and since then assisted with many aspects of the business from the installation of shades, networking and programming to design and operations.

Joe has a background in data management in the energy and compliance sector, managing large amounts of data and designing automated reporting and data collection for clients with large property portfolios.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys music, aviation, football, cinema and working out at the gym.
