Set in the rolling hills of the English countryside, this modern-day farmstead style house is a dream home for use by the whole family. Clearly Automated were asked to install a multi-room audio and video system and state-of-the-art networking and lighting control which would be easy to use by all generations.
Simplicity was the watchword for this installation. Used by the owners, their friends and family, the house has been designed to be intuitive to control, requiring virtually no instruction.
Its two media rooms feature distributed audio and video, enabling the family and guests to choose their own entertainments, without necessity for all to watch or listen to the same content. This flexibility was extended to the swimming pool area, fully equipped gym and spa room. As the stunning centrepiece of the house, the pool area was treated with very carefully designed and positioned lighting to make it stand out and take pride of place.
Befitting of the stunning location the house occupies, the owners have put considerable effort into creating a sublime garden. Clearly Automated have installed bespoke lighting solutions to enable the garden to be shown off to its best.
And while the property is packed full of technology, everything can be controlled from standard iPads and iPhones, bringing absolute familiarity for all the users, be they young, old, family or friends.
